Sustainable development is a complex concept which Yaka endeavours to apply in all its actions. Before it can be used in everyday life it is necessary to explain the concept of sustainable development to as much persons as possible. This is the challenge „Yaka Changer“ goes for!

During several years the concept of sustainable development mobilizes public opinion and causes a profound reflection about our lifestyle and consumption: exploitation of resources, social inequity, and a profit orientation that causes social and environmental damages.

All in all sustainable developpment promotes a thoughtful long term development that considers our needs as much as the preservation of the social, economic and environmental balance.

We believe that the concept of sustainable development gets promoted through our concrete actions. That´s why we aim our various actions to the principles of sustainable development. Especially during our youth camps in Europe we defend a solidary tourism that respects the environment and the community that gathers us.
